Terms of Service
1. Who we are, what this covers
These terms govern use of the Aflow platform at aflow.ai, operated by Kareem Elmansi, 12209 Berlin, Germany (“Aflow”, “we”). Aflow is currently an invite-only beta, provided free of charge; no fees are owed for using it. By accepting an invitation and using Aflow, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Aflow lets you build and run AI agents in personal and shared workspaces: agents converse, use skills, keep memory, and act through integrations you connect. You bring your own AI-provider keys; Aflow provides the platform, not the underlying AI models.
3. Your account
- Access is by invitation during the beta; one account per person.
- Keep your sign-in and your stored credentials confidential.
- You must be at least 18 years old and use the service for lawful purposes.
4. Your content and outputs
As between you and Aflow, Aflow claims no ownership in the content you create in Aflow — conversations, skills, memories, files — or in the outputs your agents produce. (Whether a given output is protectable, and any rights of the AI providers you use, are governed by law and by those providers’ terms.) You grant us only the technical licence needed to store, process, and display your content in order to operate the service for you. We do not use your content to train models or for advertising.
5. Bring-your-own keys and third-party services
- AI-provider usage runs on your keys and your provider account; costs charged by providers are yours.
- Your use of connected providers and integrations is governed by their terms; you are responsible for complying with them.
- Aflow is not a party to your agreements with those services.
6. Shared workspaces
A shared workspace is visible to its members according to their role; members can see that workspace’s conversations, runs, memories, files, and connected resources. You decide whom you invite to a workspace, and you are responsible for having the right to place any third-party data there and for what your collaborators do with the access you grant.
7. Agents act on your instructions
Agents are configured and supervised by you. Actions your agents take toward external services are governed by the approval policy configured for the workspace: medium- and high-risk writes require your confirmation by default, while low-risk or explicitly pre-authorized actions may run without a per-action prompt. Approving an action, or pre-authorizing a connection, authorizes Aflow to perform it with your connected credentials. You are responsible for the actions your agents take with the authority you grant them.
8. AI outputs and reliability
Aflow orchestrates AI models, which can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected output. Do not rely on outputs as professional advice, and apply appropriate human review before acting on them — especially for consequential decisions or actions in the real world.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use Aflow to:
- break the law, infringe rights, or distribute malicious content;
- probe, breach, or interfere with the platform’s isolation and security boundaries;
- abuse rate limits, quotas, or other users’ access;
- resell or provide the service to third parties during the beta.
10. Beta status
The service is provided as is and without a service-level guarantee, except for the warranties and rights that mandatory law grants you and that cannot be excluded. Features may change or be removed as the platform evolves. The primary database is backed up daily, but you should not use the beta as the only store of irreplaceable data. You can purge any workspace yourself at any time from workspace settings.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service. Liability under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or endanger the platform, with prior notice where reasonably possible. To delete your account and associated data during the beta, email support@aflow.ai; how deletion is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms and to the service
We may update these terms and change the service as the beta evolves. We announce material changes in the app in advance and, where a change to the service would significantly impair your use of it, we will give you reasonable prior notice. Your mandatory rights under applicable consumer-protection law — including any rights to be informed of, or to reject or terminate over, significant changes to a digital service you receive in exchange for your personal data — remain unaffected. Continued use after a change takes effect indicates your agreement to the updated terms.
14. Dispute resolution
We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
15. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
